Thank you, the remaining areas have been a bit more challenging, like Krazy Kremland which is almost done, all rides are working and I placed huge speakers around the park blasting Disco Train nonstop as soon as you enter the fair.

Kaos Kore done with full interior castle.

And something I wanted to try, a full playable level in 2.5D mode, Oil Drum Alley, very early concept. This will play as a side scroller level and has nothing to do with the 3D game, just a side quest project that hopefully doesn't take much time. :facepalm:

It was difficult to even see what this was but I think it came out decent, it will be the background for the level as in the original level. The pipes will be added later.

Very early testing of the level, I'm playing with the keyboard, but it does support a controller, I can't find mine so excuse the jarring gameplay. Is missing a bunch of stuff, like lights, chains, gears, etc, is missing Donkey and Diddy, I'm trying to get them finally rigged as best as possible with their animations, also need to model the enemies of this level. Size of objects and camera angles is all over the place at the moment, but I will adjust it at some point.



Edit: DK is in, needs the correct animations now.

These projects would benefit from your amazing models, and it will be awesome to see them in action.

Added some sound effects and adjusted the camera angle.


Finally lucky to have Cyclone 3D models in my game, thank you, looking forward to having more of your cool models in these projects.

Once I figure out how to apply the tire animation in Unreal I will post a video in action.

Awesome Looking in good!
Just one nitpick. The text background is much darker then the rest of the tire. The tire should be all one shade of black.

Have you ever seen the unused tire with the white stripe? Like you said though, a minor nitpick! If you want 1 to 1, why not make a 2d game, Cosmic? :P I'm effing with you cyclone, calm down!

Thank you, I would love to recreate the Trilogy someday. Maybe when I retire I will have enough time :rant:

Should be an easy fix, I really want to get that bending tire animation working too.



I have a few areas completed but can't render the videos yet until I upgrade my RAM, some other areas are still work in progress. Here are a few screenshots.

Gloomy Gulch done, it was difficult to balance and fit the larger area from the original render in the limited space in the 3D island.

I didn't see this until now, but well done, Cosmicman. The lighting you used really sells the scene, and the Kloak moving around was terrifying, especially at the end. Don't do that again.

Had to do a long work related trip, but like I mentioned before, Crocodile Cauldron was almost done, but something always comes up that needs to be fixed better.

Very, very early work on a test stage



Playing with 2D in Unreal. I would love to have the knowledge to recreate the original game but with the same graphics but HD and 16:9 resolution.

I can and would love to make the whole game like that, but I would need help, all this time and I still dont have a proper character with correct animations, I think once I can figure out how to do that then the rest is just taking the time to do it, im considering getting that done as commision because is the only thing holding all my games back and is the most important part in my opinion.

Thats the Knautilus from Dkc 3, still need to do the interior to fight K. Roolenstein.
